The FGTB, a trade union borne by its members

The members of the FGTB are very attached to their union and its manifesto. They are always prepared to mobilise and to conduct campaigns in order to achieve their objectives of social justice and solidarity. The FGTB is their trade union, built by them and for them.

The FGTB is leading a fight with justice and solidarity

The FGTB is in favour of all the fights that are aimed at a more just society. Fights to reinforce political, economic and social democracy, to improve working conditions, to develop quality employment, reduce working hours, guarantee security, organise solidarity, combat poverty, protect the environment, reinforce equality between all people, give priority to public services.

The FGTB is at the service of its activists

The strength of the FGTB lies in its will to realise the manifesto that was resolved upon at the Federal Congress by its activists.

The FGTB is a trade union with a fighting spirit.

Always on the front line in defending the weakest and the world of the workplace, the FGTB stands first and foremost for more justice and political, economic and social democracy. Throughout its existence, it has conducted numerous campaigns and, along with others, has been at the root of numerous workers’ victories.
